Cookies
This is a draft. It has not yet been reviewed by a solicitor.
A short page, because there is not much to say.
We only use the cookies the site cannot work without
One cookie keeps you signed in. Another protects forms against being submitted from somewhere else. That is all.
We do not use analytics, advertising, or any third-party tracking. Nobody is building a profile of you here.
Because these cookies are strictly necessary to provide a service you asked for, the law does not require us to ask your permission — which is why this site has no cookie banner interrupting a memorial page.
The one exception
If a family adds a funeral livestream, the video is embedded from YouTube. We use YouTube's no-cookie service so nothing is stored until a visitor presses play, but once they do, YouTube may set cookies of its own under their terms.
Turning them off
Your browser can block or clear cookies. Blocking ours means you will not be able to sign in or submit a form, but you can still read any public memorial page.
