Arthur Fitzpatrick (1940–2025)
–

Known to everyone simply as Archie, Arthur Fitzpatrick was a retired postman who walked more miles delivering letters than most people drive in a lifetime. He knew every dog, every doorstep, and every shortcut in the village. After retirement he became a fixture at the local bowls club and could often be found propping up the bar at The King's Arms, putting the world to rights. Archie was proof that you don't need to be loud to be loved. He was kind, he was dependable, and he always had a mint in his pocket for anyone who needed one.
